Named World Record Holder for 14 Years, Usain Bolt Drops 3 Word Message for Track and Field Aspirants

Track and field star Usain Bolt is one of the most inspiring athletes of all time. The Jamaican sprinter is the only track and field athlete who won 100 meters, 200 meters, and 4×100 meters relay. He is also the only sprinter to win Olympic gold medals in three consecutive Olympics. With his unparalleled speed and eminent passion, Bolt has carved his name in golden letters in the field of sprinting. This legend has always been a guiding light for upcoming athletes and never misses out on an opportunity to acknowledge and praise them. 

Bolt believes that hard work and passion determine success. The stellar athlete firmly states, “Easy is not an option.” He also began his career from a humble background and evolved into one of the most successful athletes in history. He stands as a living legend and an inspiration to millions, often sharing his unique insights to encourage his fans. Recently, Bolt appeared in an interview with Puma, where he shared inspiring thoughts to motivate all young athletes to continue believing in their dreams. At the interview, he also dropped some motivational words to the upcoming athletes in the field.

On 5th August, Usain Bolt appeared in an interview with Puma Running and shared his personal thoughts on different subjects. While they spoke about various things and Bolt’s life, the interviewer put forward his final question and asked Bolt to give a piece of advice to all the current young aspiring athletes. Bolt simply pronounced three words, “Never Give up,” as a piece of advice to the future athletes. He added, “Understand that the road is never easy,” because there are challenges and obstacles in the path but staunch passion can lead to success. 

He mentioned that he has faith in his dreams because if he hadn’t believed in them, he wouldn’t have become the fastest man on earth. And with dreaming big comes hard work. Bolt stated that he had always aspired to be great and had put forth his utmost effort to achieve this success.

Bolt has previously also been a support to youngsters and have asked them to see him as an inspiration for success. He says “With that I want to say hard works pays off, so if you want to be great just work towards what you want. Not only a track star, but you want to be a doctor, a lawyer, never give up, because I have gone through a lot in my career and I have never given up once”.

According to the athlete, everyone needs to work hard, make sacrifices, and believe in their dreams to attain the greatest triumphs. Bolt also shared his thoughts on the various accolades he’s accrued and breaking records.

Usain Bolt set and broke various world records during his career. But when he was asked about the world records, he said he never focused on breaking records. Bolt always focused on a good match and winning because there were numerous Jamaicans who looked up to him as inspiration.

His victory on track and field was something that everyone aspires to achieve even to this date. Bolt always focused on hard work and despite not thinking about world records, he secured numerous accolades to his name. Usain Bolt can run at a speed of 23.7 miles per hour despite his scoliosis deformity.

His coach and mentor Pablo McNeil, a tremendous Jamaican track and field Olympian in his own right is largely credited for bringing the best out of Bolt. If it wasn’t for McNeil discovering Bolt at a young age and coaching him on his fundamentals, we may have never seen the legend come to be. Bolt has tremendous respect for his mentor and hopes he can inspire more athletes in the same vein.
