He expressed his gratitude, stating, “Honored to be nominated alongside such great athletes.” The 25th Laureus World Sports Awards are slated for April 22, 2024, at the Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid.

This event will celebrate the pinnacle of sporting achievements in 2023 while also leaving a lasting legacy for the city’s youth. Lionel Messi, Novak Djokovic, Noah Lyles, pole vaulting superstar Mondo Duplantis, Erling Haaland, and Max Verstappen are nominated for the World Sportsman of the Year award. Alongside these iconic men, the list contained the crème de la crème of the sports world.
