2x World Champion Sha’Carri Richardson Leaves Fans Guessing With Yet Another Cryptic Message

“I’m not back; I’m better,” announced Sha’Carri Richardson after winning the 100m race at the US National in Eugene. The athlete has been doing justice to her words since coming back after missing out on the Tokyo Olympics 2021. She was barred from taking part in the Olympics because of a failed drug test, along with facing a month-long suspension. However, this was not enough to crush the unwavering determination of the 2x world champion. 

Consequently, she emerged as a force that needs to be reckoned with after winning the 100-meter sprint at the 2023 track and field worlds in Budapest. Besides this, she concluded the race in just 10.65 seconds to clinch her first world title. However, after a successful season last year, the fans are yet to see the track queen in action as the new season begins. Instead, she has been appearing virtually time and again to drop cryptic messages, raising anticipation in the Olympic year.

Sha’Carri Richardson recently uploaded a story on her Instagram, with an inspiring message. She penned,A Real Flex is just being yourself in the world where people live for an image.” The message is indeed a motivating one. But at the same time, the context is absolutely veiled leaving ample room for anticipation. Although she seems to be not running after image, she has created a place for herself.

The major chunk of her astonishing wealth comes from her earnings as a track and field champion, besides various endorsements with popular brands, including Apple Music and Nike. The fresh post comes days after she hinted at her Olympic preparation with another cryptic post.

A few days ago, Sha’Carri Richardson posted some pictures portraying the best version of herself, while penning, “The countdown has begun.” Apart from this, she also added a snip of American rapper Glorilla’s lyrics: “On the top of the world now, they tried to underestimate me. ” This appeared to have a direct indication of the upcoming Paris Showdown. And there are good reasons for her dreaming big.

Although Richardson has yet to clinch an Olympic berth, she is already considered among the top five American sports personalities to watch in 2024 by Olympics.com. The major reason for these estimations is her gold-winning performance in 100m in Budapest, along with 200m Bronze and 4 X100m gold in the relay.
