Megan’s team recently had a face-off with team Nigeria. The US women’s soccer team gave a tough time to their opponent and won the match, 4-0. Both teams are preparing for the next World Cup that will be held next year. 

Meanwhile, just before the match started, Megan was captured doing stretching. That is when she noticed a little girl with her father waiting for the game to start.

Megan started the conversation by saying, “Who are you most excited to watch?”

The fact that soccer icon Megan Rapinoe was talking to her left her star-struck. Her father then asked her to say “you”, pointing his fingers toward the legend. Only after that, the little fan replied.

Megan talks about quitting

Megan’s struggle for equal pay, women’s rights, and undoubtedly the White House controversy, didn’t fail to hit the highlights. Her bold persona that never accepts anything less than she deserves is what makes her more special in her fans’ eyes.

Not long ago, the athlete uploaded a reel where she talked about quitting. Sometimes quitting can be the right choice, when your reason is ‘you’. 

“I’ve quit a lot throughout my life. I’ve quit so much, I’ve become a pro quitter,” said the soccer player. “Quit being silent on women’s rights, I quit being paid less than I work, I literally quit the White House. Remember that?”

According to Megan, anything that is not fulfilling you should not be in your life. Quitting is the only option in such cases for her.
