Her advocacy for gender equality brought back worldwide attention to the suppressed topic that was very much prevalent in society. The lawsuit that she filed along with other members of the women’s team against the US Football Federation garnered a lot of support from people. However, her fight is still underway. She testified before the US congress and hoped for a fair verdict.
