It’s been seven years since the skiing legend Lindsey Vonn and golf G.O.A.T. Tiger Woods broke up. However, they are still one of the most talked-about couples in the media. Though during the time they were dating, they were on the constant radar of tabloids. Furthermore, her relationship with Tiger often brought a lot of hatred for the American skier.

The Olympic champion Lindsey Vonn has led an incredible career. However, besides her glory on the slope, she is also one of the very few sports personalities who have risen beyond the sport they played. About the experience, the American skier said, “I learned to just block out all the noise.” Perhaps when you go through all that hatred, you become accustomed to criticism.

She further added, “There was definitely a lot of harsh criticism, trolls, online. They just wanted to bring me down and I somehow figured out how to just forget about it and be myself.”

The criticism only made Lindsey strong

Although it was tough being on the radar of the haters all the time, it is also something that made her strong. Lindsey said, “I think that actually made me so much stronger being in that relationship mostly because of that because I accepted who I was.” The change happened when she began feeling confident in who she was and not what others saw her as.

However, the message Lindsey has for everyone out there is, “If you sit there and read all the comments of what people say about you. you’ll drive yourself crazy and you’ll have zero confidence.”
