Lindsey Vonn talks about recovery
Vonn is now 37 and has been retired for three years. She retired in 2019 following her injuries and closed the curtain on a decorated career. Now she is involved in various movie projects and documentaries with her own production house company. Thus, Vonn is enjoying life right now, after her determined and passionate years of skiing ended. However, Vonn recently revealed the fact that her body is yet to recover, even after all these years.
“Unfortunately, it hasn’t healed at all. I don‘t have to grind every day to prepare my body to ski 85 mph down a mountain, and in that sense It’s easier, but I still wake up in pain every day. I paid a price for my success, but I don‘t regret it, and I’d do it all over again if I could,” said Vonn.

During her career, Vonn was at the peak of her powers, regarded as a sensational skier. Even today, she is remembered as one of the best skiers in the world. Her downhill competition performances are up there with the very best, as she excelled, both technically and mentally.

After her successful career in the snow, Lindsey Vonn will join the NBC commentary team ahead of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
