In the same way, Alex Morgan is another talented player who is approaching the end of her career. Scoring five goals in a World Cup, she rose to prominence.

Now the sensational soccer player returns to her hometown in a bid to retire with San Diego Wave. Morgan played with many clubs before she returned to San Diego; who will make their debut in the National Women’s Soccer League this year.
Alex Morgan to retire with San Diego Wave

Former Manchester United coach Casey Stoner takes over the reins at San Diego Wave as he is delighted to sign her up to showcase her incredible talents. Thus, when asked whether this would be the last time that she moves clubs, Morgan spoke about her stance.
“I see this as my final stop. I think that this is kind of for me a coming home and is something that I see a long-term move in a long-term partnership with this club, both on the soccer piece but also the business side. And so with that in mind, I do see myself not only being a player, but a supporter after my career as well with this club,” said Morgan.

Hence, a glittering career is coming to an end. When asked what she would do after her career, Morgan talked about working with her content company ‘Togethxr’. However, she did not want to end her playing career, wanting to be involved in different games.

The talented superstar won important trophies in his career. She won two World Cups and brought Olympic medals in her career. She has made 190 appearances for the USWNT while scoring 115 goals, as she ranks fifth in the all-time US scoring list.
