USWNT Alex Morgan has enjoyed a decorated career on the field. As he returns home, she comes, having won everything a footballer can dream of. After traveling around the world and winning many trophies, Morgan is now expected to end her career in San Diego, her hometown. With the NWSL starting soon, Morgan is currently training hard for the new season to begin.

After winning the UEFA Champions League with Lyon, she now joins the San Diego Wave ahead of their debut in the NWSL. Undoubtedly, her experience would be of great help to her younger teammates. Her leadership qualities would be important for the club, as she is currently training to guide her team to glory in the coming season.
Alex Morgan prepares for the new season
A recent video on Twitter shows Morgan practicing her skills to perfection. Thoroughly entertaining, she recorded three perfect strikes in her training. The first strike saw her receiving the ball from a bounce, controlling it with a subtle touch, performing a couple of dribbling moves before slotting the ball into the bottom corner of the net.
For her second goal, she rushed into the six-yard box to receive the ball and place it into the net.

Her third strike was quite a tremendous finish from the brilliant Morgan. As she received the ball on the bounce, she took a dribble, shifting the ball to her right foot, and slotting it into the top left corner to end the drill.
Undoubtedly, Morgan looks pumped from her workout routines. Clearly, she looks ready for the new season.

Proud to join San Diego
Morgan joined her hometown club after leaving the Orlando Pride. She looks thrilled to start her career in San Diego and bring a championship to the city.
“I am coming home to partner with this ambitious new club and to push the league forward for generations of soccer players to come. I cannot wait to get started and I will do everything I can to help bring a championship to this great city,” said Morgan.
