The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics is just around the corner. Team USA will send a strong contingent of 223 athletes, looking to match their dominance at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. They have a great team heading to Beijing with Shaun White, Chloe Kim, Mikaela Shiffrin, and many others hoping to win medals for their country. Undoubtedly, it would be sensational for the fans to watch.

With the Games set to start on February 4th, the coverage of the Olympics will be on NBC and Peacock. It will be available live and in primetime. So grab your popcorn, kick back and watch how the events unfold at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

Schedule for the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics

NBCUniversal will provide comprehensive coverage of the Winter Olympics as they did for the Summer Olympics in Tokyo. This is the first time that the Winter Olympics would get great coverage. Moreover, with the pandemic forcing people to watch from their homes, the tv ratings are proving a boost for most tv broadcasters.

The coverage starts at 6.30 a.m. ET on NBC and Peacock as it will be the first time that NBCU will provide a live morning presentation of the Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony.

Followed by that event, a special edition of TODAY will air from 9.00 a.m to 11.00 a.m. ET that will include opening day ceremony reactions and interviews of different athletes. Certainly, it is a great initiative to get an in-depth look into the athletes and their preparations ahead of their signature competitions.

From there, NBCU will look at the highlights of the Opening Ceremony while looking at the peculiar stories that will unfold at the Olympics. It will air from 12.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

It would be a day-long coverage by NBC to provide an in-depth look into the opening ceremony and showcase its primetime from 8.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. Likewise, there will be a focus on the performances showcased at the Olympics, along with pageantry and the Parade of Nations at the Opening Ceremony. In addition, authenticated users can watch the ceremony on NBCOlympics.com and in NBC Sports App.
