By the same token, In the 2023 results of Iran’s Strongest Man, Ramin Farajnejad emerged as the ultimate champion. Moreover, he was caught on camera weeping happy tears from his first pro victory, per an Instagram update by Backstage Sport.

Iran’s Strongest Man in 2023. 

The social media update on Backstage Sport’s page revealed a glimpse of the 930-lbs strongman’s grand triumph. He charged through the Power Stairs phase, finally claiming his victory and then momentarily celebrating the achievement while bursting into tears. Others surrounding him gleefully praised the athlete, smothering him with pats and kisses.

This year’s battle was predominantly a one-on-one clash between the top two contenders, Farajnejad and Reza Gheitasi. The two were significantly ahead of the other competitors, with 49 and 44 points, respectively, while others were on an average of 30 points.

Reportedly, it was Farajnejad’s foremost title in the professional domain. Additionally, his 5-point advantage encouraged his win, while Gheitasi ended up as the silver medalist, being 10.5 scores ahead of the third-best, Mohsen Masnabadi.

Ramin Farajnejad’s Strongman career

The Iranian pro has been competing since 2017. He participated in the 2023 ISM contest in addition to several elite competitions previously. Furthermore, his 2017 debut was in the Arnold Amateur Strongman World Championships taking place in Columbus, Ohio. He finished off at the top 3, following eminent contenders, Oleksii Novikov and Mateusz Ostaszewski.

Apparently, he took time off from competing in 2018 but was back the next year at the World’s Ultimate Strongman held in Dubai. He managed to finish off at 10th place. Similarly, he didn’t compete in 2022 and finally emerged as the 2023 champion in Iran.

Remarkably, the athlete had strategically planned out his competing formula. Keeping away from competing every year and then galloping back into action the next, Farajnejad has decisively aced the title and we hope to see him reign over more. When do you think he is competing next?
