The ocean harbors wave for everyone who seeks thrill in its immensity. Whether it is a surfer or a swimmer, the turquoise water has the barrel for every sea pursuer. But what happens when the wave chasers collide with each other? Well, while some collisions end up in brutal knockouts, others end up hurting both individuals. Likewise, recently, a kid surfer’s paddleboard knocked a swimmer who was back floating on the wave in the kid’s proximity. Nonetheless, the whole episode astounded the netizens and many from the surfing community.

Recently, the video of a young surfer paddling on the waves got resurfaced and became the subject of social media scrutiny. In the video, the kid can be seen chasing barrels in the ocean, while a fellow swimmer was resting on the same barrel in the skyward position. As the surfer approached the swimming fanatic, the swimmer became inscrutable about the sudden development and thus got knocked by the kid’s surfboard. Following this, the social media cult expressed their intriguing outlooks on the fiasco.

Netizens got frenzied over the surfer and swimmer’s impromptu collision

On 11th April 2023, the surfing fan page, Kookslams, shared the clip of the entire episode through its Instagram handle. Captioning the post, the fan page wrote, “Foam to the dome”. More so, the whole incident rendered fans in absolute disbelief, and they flocked to the comment section to express their perspectives.

One fan asked the swimmer, “But did you die?“. Others called out the swimmer for not reacting to his reflex. One penned, “Dude spent like four business days staring while the board was coming right at his nose”, another mentioned, “Had a year to get out of the way dude”.

Nonetheless, some even pointed out that the swimmer was wearing loafers in the sea. A surfing enthusiast wrote, “Man was wearing loafers in the sea. Fair play!!”. Another fan consoled the swimmer for his injury and added, “sorry that had to happen to you while you were ejoying your day at the beach. You need to work on your head movement a little more!”. Mentions like, “Swim between flags dude, not in the surfing zone!”, “Precision targeting engaged”, and “That had to hurt” brimmed the comment section to the hilt.

Likewise, last year in June, a veteran surfer recklessly plummeted a young bodyboarder as he tried to step in, vying for the same wave.
