Australian surfing icon Mick Fanning has garnered a boat full of success in his beloved oceanic arena. In a career spanning over 15 years, he accumulated 22 wins, 3 WSL titles, and survived a dreadful Great White encounter. After his retirement from the sport four years ago, the surfer has anchored his focus on his personal and financial fronts, as well as the renovation of his Hamptons-themed mansion in Queensland.

In 2022, following the revamping of his house in Bilinga, Queensland, Fanning opened the doors of his opulent beachfront home for everyone who seeks solace in the countryside’s luxury and sunny climate.

However, in 2022, Fanning and his fiancee handed the property to the Three Birds renovation company for refurbishing the house with modern furnishings. Now, as the house is all revamped with new architecture, the surfer has put the house on holiday rentals.

The 3x WSL champion’s three-story beach house flaunts seven bedrooms between the main house and guest cottage, with double recycled-timber doors, a home gym, a sauna, a table tennis room, and a yoga room. More so, the top deck gives the 180-degree beach view with a resort-style deck. As the home is situated on the coastal terrains of the Gold Coast, the architects added textures that highlight earthiness. “We introduced earthy accents, with cream and rust tones for contrast”, stated the architect. One of the other designers added, “Everyone needs space to retreat to on a weekend away, and this arrangement has serious slumber-party vibes“.

Given the location of the house, which is fronting the Bilinga beach and is just a few miles away from the Coolangatta airport, Fanning’s Gold Coast home became the most viewed property on real estate websites in 2022.
