Yes, you read that right, the snowboarding and skateboarding legends, Shaun White and Tony Hawk, aren’t the only close friends Kelly Slater has got.
The 50-year-old surfer had an amazing time at the Oscars with his two best buddies. In fact, the trio was kind of the major attraction of the show. Well, of course, apart from the Will Smith and Chris Rock incident.

The surfing champion was looking dashing in his Gucci outfit at the Oscars. However, this Gucci connection wasn’t coincident. Kelly revealed, “I’ve known François [Henri Pinault] for a long time. He and Kering helped start my company, Outerknown, so we were former business partners. Susan [Chokachi] and her husband are old friends and neighbors, so the Gucci connection happened naturally.”

Kelly Slater celebrated 60 years of James Bond
As the presenters at the Oscars, Kelly Slater, Shaun White, and Tony Hawk celebrated the 60 years of James Bond in Hollywood. The trio paid tribute to the world-famous spy and announced the names of all the actors who’ve portrayed the iconic character. Furthermore, they also concluded that it’s impossible to identify who portrayed the character best because they all were incredible as James Bond.
