“How the F*ck Are You on This Wave?”: Female Surfer Ripping a Mega Wave Envisioned the Whole Thing in Disbelief

Regardless of their age, the sport of surfing welcomes everyone to grace their presence on the deep blue tarmac. At the age of just 22, the Oahu native, Moana Jones-Wong is winning hearts by mounting her surfboard on the wave crest. Just like last year, the ‘queen of pipeline’ once again astounded everyone by achieving triumph over the menacing pipeline wave. However, the young surfer finds it hard to believe that she actually trounced the gigantic ripple.
On 14th January 2023, Wong deliberately chased the pipeline and came out of the ocean with a victorious grin. Interestingly, the surfer has addressed her cheerers through her social media handle and thanked everyone who supported her throughout her journey. Moreover, her remarkable performance left the young star “in disbelief”.

Soon after netting the win in Hawaii, the 22-year-old shared the video of her commendable performance through her Instagram handle. Sharing the experience that she had throughout her ride on the pipeline she penned, “The vision I had while I was in this barrel was the most insane thing my eyes have ever seen”. Wong added, “the entire ride I was like “HOW THE F@ck ARE U EVEN ON THIS WAVE”.

The Hawaiian further expressed her elation by writing, “BEST WAVE OF MY LIFE !!!!! I am in disbelief”. Interestingly, Wong thanked her fellow surfer, Kala Grace for constantly cheering her. Extending her heartfelt gratitude towards her fans, the queen of pipeline penned, “Thank you everyone for the love”.

The Queen of Pipeline rose to fame in the year 2022 after conquering the ferocious Pipeline wave at Oahu’s North shore in Hawaii. Moreover, the young surfer earned the title of Billabong Pro Pipeline champion by beating the five-time world champion, Carissa Moore. Interestingly, Wong’s affinity with water dates back to when she was just 12. Since then, she has been unstoppable.

Wong also took home the 2021 HIC Pipe pro, which was a Qualifying series event. Along with this, she also received global recognition for her incredible surfing prompts. Moana Jones-Wong is certainly an outstanding surfer and a staunch champion, don’t you think?
