Although the big blue oceanic ripples might please with its adrenaline rush, one also might end up drowning in its infinity. Likewise, the California surfer, Jared Trainor, once had a near-fatal encounter with death.

Earlier this year, 31-year-old surfer Jared Trainor got severely injured while surfing. Apparently, he got attacked by a shark and suffered from some life-threatening injuries.

Jared Trainor got into a vicious surfing accident

The 31-year-old surfer profoundly chatted about his life-threatening accident with The Times-Standard. He detailed every in and out of his surfing mishap. As per the report, Trainor was surfing at Centerville Beach, California, during the peak season of Shark migration to the west coast.

Although the surfer was aware of the dangers of surfing during ‘Sharktober’, he confidently paddled into the ocean and fell prey to shark clutches. Defining the shark’s grip, Jared said, “Its lower jaws had the board and its upper jaws had my leg”. However, the surfer did get rescued after the surfing catastrophe.

Jared further expressed his heartfelt gratitude by saying, “I’m grateful to be alive”. The 31-year-old even addressed his love for the sport, as he added, “And I love surfing so much that I’m hoping this brings a newfound appreciation”. Clearly, Jared has rather a positive outlook on the dangers involved in his beloved sport of surfing.

Jared’s fans wished him good health and a fast recovery

A shark attack survivor requires prolonged bed rest and good medical care. And, along with medical treatments, comes a hefty medical bill. However, the GofoundMe fundraising website came forward to help the 31-year-old by taking care of his medical expenses. Jared’s fans and various surfing fanatics helped him by raising money and wishing him a fast recovery.

With Jared’s optimistic take, “That’s gonna be a bad*ss story”, on his minacious surfing accident, it can safely be concluded, Jared loves the sport of surfing dearly. With this, we wish Jared good health and only the best in all his future endeavors.
