A surfing spree and a rescue operation….that’s the story of two friends, who together saved a dog from an isolated sea cliff cave. Many people who enjoy activities like surfing and hiking often take their pets along with them. However, sometimes, pets may be lost, or worse, during such adventures. Likewise, last year a couple took their dog Stella with them to the Juan de Fuca trail. Unfortunately, Stella got separated from the owners amidst the hike.

Clearly, the duo did an incredible job of bringing back Stella to the safety of the shore. Matty Johnson told GNN about their rescue operation because he wanted to, “spread good news and inspire people to put themselves out there when the chance arises”. It was one selfless deed, don’t you think?
