However, a Florida-based themed water park company has just the perfect solution to truncate the agony of those who want to surf but cannot accumulate the moxie to paddle toward those big barrels.

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is an American theme park and entertainment company based in Orlando, Florida. The company currently operates thirteen recreational destinations in the States and each park has a multitude of unique rides and swimming arenas. Now, SeaWorld is all set to add yet another rollercoaster to its Orlando-based recreational park, where non-surfers can also enjoy the thrill of paddling through big waves.

Buy a ticket, fasten your seatbelts, and enjoy paddling through Pipeline

Recently, the official Twitter handle of SeaWorld announced the official date of the surfing rollercoaster’s grand opening. Interestingly, the new ride got its moniker as ‘Pipeline, The Surf Coaster’. As per the tweet, the theme park will open its gates for new members on May 27th, 2023. However, fans who already got their membership upgraded will get early access to the ride on May 12th, 2023.

Captioning the Tweet, SeaWorld penned, “It’s gonna be May 27…Pass Members can ride the world’s first surf coaster starting May 12!”. Interestingly, as per SeaWorld’s website, the ride is the world’s first surf coaster. It is 110 feet high and reaches speeds up to 60 mph. Nonetheless, the dynamic seats fitted inside the ride promise to give the same adrenaline rush as induced while chasing the real Pipeline wave.

Per the official webpage, the minimum stature requirement for experiencing the ultimate thrill in the coaster is 4 feet 5 inches. Interestingly, the new ride is going to be the seventh coaster at the Orlando SeaWorld. Nevertheless, though surfing coasters are introduced for the first time by SeaWorld, the surfing association Fireside Surf has already taken the initiative of opening an artificial wave stimulator.

Earlier this year, Fireside Surf announced the launch of its first-ever surfing restaurant in North Texas by the end of this year. As per the official website, the wave pool stimulator will have, “customizable and endless deep-water waves up to 6 feet” and will have levels for beginners and professionals.

Interestingly, the dining and surf corporation has now started the construction of the wave pool surfing tavern in the suburbs of Dallas. With the introduction of new and innovative concepts like surfing coasters, wave pool stimulators, and standing pools, non-surfers also got a way to enjoy the same thrilling experience that surfers do in turquoise waters, don’t you agree?
