If you ever want to know what a great athletic career looks like, just search for Michael Phelps on the internet. The American swimming legend is the most decorated Olympian ever. In fact, no one is even close to his Olympic medal count, and the number seems to be imaginary for many. However, it all started with a dream that an extraordinary athlete, Michael Phelps, made it a reality.

Winning eight gold medals in a single Olympics; no one can even imagine that, and yet Michael Phelps did it like he was born for it. If there’s a word that can aptly describe him, it’s ‘magnificent.’

Michael Phelps recalls the special moments of his career

It’s been six years since he announced his retirement from professional swimming. As he recalled the moments of his glorious journey, he was proud and content about what he has accomplished. The Olympic champion said, “It was a fun 20 years, it was crazy. Everything started with a dream of being an Olympic champion.”

Michael further added, “being able to have that first opportunity in 2004, just building from there. They just kept on coming. So its good, hard work does pay of.”

Watching him compete has been a visual treat for millions of fans. The Olympic legend has given enough moment to the sport of swimming to be cherished for a lifetime.

An effort towards healthy parenting

Parenting is an important part of a child’s overall upbringing and Michael and Nicole Phelps have always been strong advocates of healthy parenting. Keeping in the mind the same, the couple is collaborating with Nemours Children’s Health through their NGO, Michael Phelps Foundation, for a noble cause. Together, the two organizations will create a short, conversational video series to educate people about parenting.

The initiative will help parents and families to take proper measures for providing their children with a great mental, emotional and social environment. If implemented aptly, it will surely change a lot of lives.
