Michael Phelps’ gets his golf tips
He recently appeared at the Icon Series and tested his golf skills on the golf course. Explaining that, he focused on swimming to assist him while playing golf. Fair to say, it is working wonders. He described how Mike Abbott helped him study the game by making him know about his strengths and weaknesses.
“The best way I can explain the game has been through swimming. A guy I work with, Mike Abbott, compares it to what I was doing in the pool, and body position. For me, that’s all I know. I mean I can literally do it in my sleep,” said Phelps, who appears to love the sport. Body position is crucial for a golfer and is the same for a swimmer. A straight body helps to push through the water and gain an advantage over your competitors.
