Different bonuses were included with the contract; including, a $1 million bonus for winning eight gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. From the 2004 Athens Olympics to the 2012 London Olympics, he used Speedo’s signature goggles as he won a lot of medals with the famous swimming equipment company. After that, he switched his brand of goggles for his last appearance in the Olympics as he spoke about his brand.
