Ryan Lochte has racked up a total of 12 Olympic medals and is the current record holder for the 200-individual medley. However, the two-time World  Swimmer of the Year is not only an accomplished swimmer but also a dedicated family man. And this holiday season, the Lochte family took to Instagram to share an adorable greeting for their followers and fans.

Lochte married Kayla Ray Reid in the year 2018. Since then, Ryan Lochte and his wife have had two kids; a daughter named Liv Rae who’s currently 3 years old, and a son named Caiden Zane who is 4. But it looks like, they’ll be joined by a new member very soon!

Lochte and his wife shared a post on Instagram with an adorable custom-made holiday greeting card. The card read, ‘We wish you abundant blessings. The Lochte Family, 2022‘. It was posted with the caption, “Merry Christmas Eve to all of you… We hope everyone is staying warm! We are wishing you all a joyful end of the year filled with blessings and love. This time next year, we will have a 6 month old!”

The couple announced that they were expecting another child in an Instagram post, captioned, “Lochte baby #3 on the way, in June again of course!”

The Lochte family

Ryan Lochte loves being a dad, and he dotes on both of his kids. In an interview with People, he said, “I have to be ‘Super Dad’ when I get home. A lot of my competitors do recovery and stuff like that, but I’m limited because my most important thing is being a dad.”

According to him, it is hard to juggle his career and his kids sometimes, but he still spends every opportunity he can with them. “It’s hard juggling because I want to be the best dad. After I’m done with practice, I can’t go home and take a nap.”

While Lochte is a loving father to his kids, unfortunately, he doesn’t share the same parent-child affection with his mother. His parents are divorced and he has a strained relationship with his mother, who he hasn’t spoken to in years.

However, Lochte has not let this affect his family, as he continues to work hard for them and be with them any chance he can get. Lochte revealed that he and his wife will probably have another kid. His wife does not want to have an odd number of kids, so they are probably going to go for a fourth one. Well, who wouldn’t like more swimming champs?
