Ronaldo took to social media to announce the heartbreaking news of his baby boy’s death as his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, gave birth to twins. However, the other twin, a baby girl, was born healthy and fit.
In the post, there was a signed message from the couple. The Instagram post read, “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away.” This news has left everyone shocked, and the family devastated. They thanked the doctors and nurses for their expert care and support throughout, as they asked for privacy in such trying times.

Stars from all over the globe showed their support to the family. Jamaican star athletes Yohan Blake and Usain Bolt were also amongst the people to react. As Yohan commented, “So sorry my friend,” Bolt prayed for the family’s peace and wellbeing.
Real Madrid also reacted to the news by sharing a post that read, “the club, its President and its Board of Directors deeply regret the death of one of the children that our beloved Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, were expecting.” They also said that the club is with the family in times of grief and wants to show all of its love and affection to them.
Ronaldo, 37, is now a father to 5 children with the birth of a baby girl. With his current partner, he now has two daughters. He is also a father to twins Mateo and Eva, who were born via surrogacy in 2017.
His oldest is his son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., born in 2010. At present, he is a part of the Manchester United Academy.
