The athlete holds American national records for the 5,000 and 10,000 meters.

Apart from that, Grant Fisher divulged about the strong relationship with his new coach Mike Scannel, “I’m working with my old high school coach Mike Scannell. I have a really good relationship with him and going back to before I was even running when I was a kid. We have a great relationship. I really like his approach to coaching.” He added further.

Grant Fisher’s track and field journey with Bowerman
After graduating from Stanford University, California, Grant Fisher shook his hand with the Bowerman Track Club and had a victorious tenure with the club. Despite continuing to receive new heights as an international athlete, the 26-year-old prominent runner successfully finished fifth in the 10,000-meter race at the Tokyo Olympics. Grant Fisher executed his best because of the excellent guidance of Jerry Schumacher, coach of Bowerman Track Club.
The Bowerman Club reflected on the impact of Grant Fisher over the past four years, emphasizing his importance on the team. The club affectionately mentioned that they will miss Fisher’s infectious smile. Kicking off his 2023 season, Fisher set the North American indoor record in the 5000m.
