Noah Lyles, the track and field phenom, the entire world is rooting for at the moment, has more achievements to bag in 2024. The 3x gold medalist in World Athletics Championships 2023, is girding up strong for the 4th February event. The event is nothing but the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, which is all set to kick off at The Track at New Balance.

But is the 26-year-old hinting at something that has the potential to keep his fans on the edge of their seats? With skills sharpened even more this time, let’s take a look at the Florida native’s competitive preps.

Is Noah Lyles signaling a triple win?

Resorting to his Instagram, the 2023 Worlds 100m gold medalist has captioned, “New Balance Grand Prix Feb 4th, 4pm NBC. Going for a 3 peat”. Back-to-back in 2022 and 2023, Lyles had secured the 60m gold in the same Indoor event. So, the latter part of his statement looked straight into the eye of his rivals, who are gearing up to contest in the same category. He paired a video with the caption, which gave a sneak peek at his training sessions, and that’s enough to keep his competitors pondering about making an entry or not.

Noah Lyles is a 5x Diamond League and the third fastest at the 200m world’s all-time list. Moreover, the 200m bronze medalist at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics has a greater goal to achieve at the Paris Olympics 2024. So, considering the 60m leg as a warm-up, it’s going to be a one-of-a-kind warm-up indeed.
