A similar challenge was faced by a teen volleyball sensation, Janae Edmondson who was met with a horrifying accident that ended her career.
As per Daily Mail, the 16-year-old athlete was returning back from a volleyball tournament with her parents in St. Louis, when a speeding car dashed against another and hit the athlete on the sidewalks. Rushing her to the hospital, her legs had to be amputated. Netizens supported Edmondson by sending in their prayers and thoughts under their Facebook update on the case.

The teenage star athlete had just participated in the first day of the President’s Day Classic Tournament held at the city, on February 18. Moreover, she played for Tennessee’s team club, per the source. The fateful accident took place while she was walking down the side lanes around 9 pm. The crasher, Daniel Riley, 21, was driving an overspeeding gray Audi and was later identified as a criminal. Here are some of the reactions from the netizens

Talking to Barbara Terry in a 2014 interview, the 4x Mr. Olympia once got candid and shared the details of a ghastly car accident when he was just 5 years old. Apparently, Cutler is an ardent lover of cars. He even bought his first car, a 1981 Toyota Corolla at 20. The host enquired about any car crash experiences to which the bodybuilder responded, “When I was five years old, I was put through the windshield of a vehicle due to a drunk driver.”
Additionally, the beast revealed another of his accidents in 2005, which was once again caused by a drunk driver. However, the champion soon recovered from the injuries.
