The New York Islanders will be facing the Vancouver Canucks tomorrow. Both teams have made history in terms of recent events. On January 30, Canucks captain Bo Horvat got traded to the Islanders, which was an unexpected move by the team. Islanders left winger Anthony Beauvillier was also involved in that deal, and the rising NHL star will be playing against his former side in his next contest.

Recently, the NHL star appeared in an interview that was posted on the YouTube channel, Glovey McGlovin. Anthony Beauvillier said in the interview that he had mixed emotions about the next game.

There was much surprise at Bo Horvat’s move. Even if they aren’t in the best of form, the Vancouver Canucks aren’t afraid to take chances as they prepare for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Canucks’ fan base shares the dismay of the team’s management. This young NHL player, however, is not letting any of it get in the way of his preparation for his upcoming game against the New York Islanders.

In the interview, Anthony Beauvillier says, “Yeah, I every time I start thinking about it I don’t really let myself do it so I’ll just try to enjoy the moment tomorrow. I mean obviously, there’s a game tonight but I will enjoy the moment tomorrow and you know like I said like first time I’m gonna go through this but it’s gonna be great I mean seeing everyone one last time and turning the page. I feel like it’s kind of a blessing the skies that I get to turn the page that quickly so will be fun I think.”

Canucks’ current NHL season woes won’t deter him from giving it his all. It was back in 2015 when the Islanders made the pick that would ultimately lead to the young player’s professional career. It’s quite emotional for Beauvillier to play against the players he’s been playing with for a long time, he explains. But even though he can’t wait for it, he won’t be sitting on the sidelines for this game.

Islanders fans left positivity for this NHL star

The Canucks and Islanders have had considerable animosity towards one another since the Islanders stole the Canucks’ fan-favorite captain. However, Islanders fans have gathered here to root for Anthony Beauvillier in his upcoming game against his previous club. Here are some comments that prove it.
