Another day, another bug in Riot Games’ latest creation, Valorant. The game’s latest patch 1.02 may have brought some significant changes to the game but it has also exposed some bugs. One of the more recent bugs is that players can’t seem to register headshots while crouching.

Redditor elektrokills put up a video that contains a proof for the same. Take a look:

Headshots not registering when a player crouches from VALORANT

Crouching is technically supposed to make your aim sharper. Registering headshots should be more accurate while one is crouching. The issue is, the moment you register a headshot while crouching, you can hear the headshot sound, can see the head damage wound but your enemy is still standing and the damage indicator shows that it was a body shot instead. Frustrating, isn’t it?

Riot also had to disable its ranked feature temporarily since a lot of players reported bugs. One of the weirdest ones was that you would spawn in the enemy’s side at the start of the next round. Since this is now fixed, the ranked feature is finally available, globally.

You start from the lowest rank i.e. Iron 1 and work your way upwards trying to reach the highest rank called ‘Radiant’. You will also be able to track your rank progression through every Valorant act, which lasts for two months. Riot has also optimized their matchmaking to ensure that friends at substantially different levels can play together, without any issues

Valorant: Ninja to Lead Team in Ignition Series Tournament

While this is great news for Riot, they really need to fix some major issues which could make players want to leave. The game is quite new and they adopted the Minecraft way of launching a closed beta first. But they will have to be quick to respond to the bugs which keep appearing almost daily, ASAP. They have a gold mine at their disposal and absolutely cannot let pesky bugs ruin the game for everyone.
