Red Bull driver Max Verstappen had an eventful Japanese Grand Prix. He was involved in collisions with both Ferrari drivers in separate incidents. Earlier, Verstappen ran wide and clipped Raikkonen while rejoining. But then, a few laps later, he was a victim of a divebomb from Vettel at the Spoon Curve.

The end result was that Vettel spun and dropped to the back of the pack and Verstappen continued on. While Max was penalised for the Raikkonen incident, there was no action taken for the Vettel clash. Naturally, Vettel attempted to justify his actions during the incident.

He channeled his inner Senna when he said that if he didn’t go for the existing gap, there was no point in racing. In the end, he ended the race in a lowly 6th place.
