$7000 Could Prevent Schuylkill Valley Cheerleaders from Performing at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando

Being a cheerleader has not always been an easy thing to do. Cheerleaders also put in a lot of effort into their fitness routines. The players have to weave their magic on the field, but to gather support from the crowd, the cheerleaders are supposed to be charismatic on the stage and off the field.

The performance sometimes looks so beautiful that it is appreciated and recognised. However, there are many roadblocks that could drop you from many opportunities which are coming your way.

After their extraordinary performance, Schuylkill Valley High School varsity cheerleaders received all-American cheerleader awards. This event was organised at the Universal Cheerleaders Association cheer camp held this summer.

A total of five cheerleaders performed at the camp. It was appreciated by the higher authorities. It does not only stop here, they get an invitation to perform in front of 60,000 people during halftime at an event “Cheeze-it Citrus Bowl”

However, they met a certain roadblock they had to conquer. The invitation they got from Orlando does not cover any travel expenses for them. The total amount of money required for travel and accommodation is $7000.

A roadblock to cross

It is an opportunity for all five girls to perform in front of 60,000 people. To present what they had strived for, their dedication, their commitment, and their hard work to their profile. However, if they fail to find sponsors, they could lose this opportunity.

In the hopes of keeping their dream alive, they are set to host a breakfast fundraiser. This will be organised at the fraternal order of the police social club. It is located at 776 Mt Laurel Road in Muhlenberg Township.

They also shared an email through which people can provide financial assistance. It reflects the not-giving-up attitude of these high school cheerleaders.

Sometimes, hard work and a not-giving-up attitude can lead you to places you have never imagined. If the girls keep knocking on every opportunity that comes their way, it will open their doors to perform in front of 60,000 people and represent themselves. A young talent that wants to get on the big stage and they are currently doing everything they can to do so. However, any outside help could also make a dream come true.
