Issues of street violence are not new and have plagued people for quite sometime now. In a sad throwback to one such video of street violence and stupidity that generated a lot of buzz, the video was a reminder of how things have not changed.

The bizarre video clip showed the moment a poor 12-year-old boy, dancing on the streets was subject to unwanted, misdirected anger. Uploaded by Twitter, now X, ‘Moronic Clips’, the video was a throwback to the bizarre incident when a 12-year-old Ethan Hagler was attacked MMA style by a madman.

Man jumps out of car to deliver MMA style punch

The video started with Ethan dancing on the side of the street as the music played in the background, and his dance teacher Michael Curry watching over him and another young student.

A black SUV stops behind them in the middle of the road and a man popped out of it. At first, it looked like he was moving and dancing to the song as he inched closer to the group. Ethan watched the man get out of his car but clearly did not anticipate what was about to follow.

The man hopped towards Ethan and took a violent swing, punched his face and made a run for his car. The MMA inspired punch forced Ethan to the floor immediately as his teacher screamed and rushed towards the car. Ethan watched his attacker get away, stood up and immediately winced in pain from the punch.

The man in the video, Cedric Charles Moore Jr was later arrested and sentenced to 7 years in prison for second-degree assault.
