Coaches play a vital role in the development of athletes. They provide the right direction to youngsters and help them develop. 12-year-old AJ Iredell from California has taken up a fantastic initiative. He has taken up the responsibility of teaching surfing to a special set of children.
Surfing as a sport is not only exciting but also very popular. The sport not only challenges the physical aspect but also the mental aspect as well. However, it will be exciting to see how the young coach performs in his new task.

It’s very rare to see a 12-year-old taking up the responsibility of coaching. The young boy from California is a part of a wonderful initiative. “Waves of Impact” is an initiative which helps people with disabilities around the area. They arrange surfing camps for them and help them learn about the sport.

At just 12-years-old he has the vision and the attitude to help others. Surfing at this young age is very tough. However, teaching to surf is a lot more harder. It’s wonderful to see such young people coming forward and helping the people with disabilities.
Apart from Surfing he also finds out time for Jujitsu and snowboarding. His family members are his biggest cheerleaders and always support him. They constantly support him throughout the journey and are proud of him.
Such initiatives help people come together and help each other. This is just the beginning of his career and he has many things to achieve. It will be great to see him grow over the coming decades. Clearly, the first step is in the right direction.
