The season of the Wimbledon Championships has witnessed a handful of historical, funny, memorable, and stunning moments throughout the tournament. However, one player who missed out on playing her home Grand Slam was Emma Raducanu. As players are now gearing up for the US Open, fans are eagerly waiting for a comeback from Raducanu. It looks like their prayers have been finally answered! The US Open champion shared an update on her Instagram, which painted the world red. She offered a glimpse into her professional life for the first time after three months of rehabilitation, and fans are over the moon!

She has been away from the majors for almost half a year since her last Australian Open in 2023. After the Madrid Open, Raducanu could not play any tournament owing to her multiple injuries. The British sensation attended her home Slam this year as a member of the audience. She even interacted with the Princess of Wales, who lifted her spirits. But now she is out on the court, honing her skills.

Raducanu captioned the post, “hi ! 🤩 first few steps but nice to be reintroduced 👋.” She started working on a cable machine to train her lats, moved on to dumbbell lunges to work her quads, did some hyperextensions to work her lower back, and the video ended with her using the leg press machine to work her quads.

This exhibition event in Macau remains the official comeback of Raducanu, as she did not confirm her presence at the US Open 2023. Do you think the young sensation will play this year’s hard-court Slam? Alize Cornet defeated the Brit in the first round of the 2022 US Open, and she hasn’t had a memorable outing in major events since her career-defining victory. Will this year mark a perfect comeback season for Raducanu?
