The Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio rivalry took another disastrous turn on Raw. However, this time the dramatic turn wasn’t between the two Superstars, but their friends.

Murphy and Aleister Black have a long history on RAW. They have been rivals fighting each other personally as well as part of different units.

All this started on the November 18 edition of RAW. Murphy went to Black’s locker room to challenge him, but Black was absent.

Following week, Black appeared and attacked Murphy after his match. Black defeated Murphy at TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs.

On the 13 January 2020 edition of Raw, Murphy lost to Aleister Black. He sat at ringside in distress throughout the remainder of the show.

During the main event, Murphy aligned with Seth Rollins and AOP, allowing them to defeat Big Show, Samoa Joe, and Kevin Owens and joining their stable as a disciple.

The following week, Murphy and Rollins defeated The Viking Raiders. The Messiah and his disciple went on to become the RAW tag team champions.

The duo eventually lost the titles to current champions the Street Profits on Monday Night RAW.

The Night after Money in the Bank, Murphy and Black partnered with Mysterio and Rollins respectively. Rollins savagely attacked Rey Mysterio in the tag team match.

Mysterio’s eye was severely injured in the storyline when Rollins forced his face onto the steel steps. After this event, Murphy restarted his rivalry with Black.

Seth Rollins and Murphy assault Aleister Black on WWE RAW

This Monday on RAW, Dominik confronted Seth Rollins. This happened after Rollins’ brutal assault on his father at the Horror Show At Extreme Rules.

Seth Rollins tried to control Dominik with his manipulative words. However, Dominik was down for a fight and he attacked the duo.

The two vs one advantage worked and Murphy and Rollins got hold of Dominik. Black then came in to make the save. However, the numbers game got heavy on him as well.

On getting control of Black, here is the cynical action by Murphy on the command of the Monday Night Messiah Seth Rollins.

Dominik then came in to save the day with vicious attacks using a kendo stick. Unfortunately for Black, the damage was already done to his eye.

This rivalry is certainly far, far away from over. The WWE universe will be very keen to see if there is any reaction from the master of the 619, Rey Mysterio.

However, this week Aleister Balck was sacrificed for the greater good.
