In the latest edition of AEW Dynamite, Jack Perry and The Elite attacked Tony Khan. The Scapegoat made his return at AEW Dynasty, helping the Young Bucks win the vacant tag team titles in a ladder match against FTR.

And on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the superstar f.k.a Jungle Boy also came face-to-face with Tony Khan. He first hugged him and then attacked him along with the Elite. After the attack, Shahid Khan, the father of Tony Khan, rushed to the ring to check on his son. But considering how little Shahid Khan must know about pro wrestling, what do you think his initial reaction would’ve been? Well, we may have a hint.

Right after the show ended, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Jon Alba, and Alex Pawlowski took no time to discuss all the events that took place on AEW Dynamite. And one of the fun topics they couldn’t help but discuss was the AEW debut of Shahid Khan. They all wondered what would’ve been going on in the mind of Khan, and that’s when Pawlowski gave his idea of what must’ve transpired inside the head of Papa Khan. He said, “If he had to be explained what professional wrestling was. Like somebody had to explain that to him. Not just the angle. ‘What is all of this? What has my some been doing with all of the money I’ve given him?”

The AEW faithful as well as fans of WWE and CM Punk would have loved that segment. It is not often that you get to see the owner of the company being thrashed in the center of the ring. But if you are one of the unfortunate few who missed the segment, here’s a small recap for you.

Tony Khan endures a severe thrashing

Earlier tonight, The Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada, and Jack Perry announced that Perry would settle his issues with Khan in the center of the ring at the show’s end. And Jack Perry did call Tony Khan to the ring after the end of the show. Perry expressed that he has had some of the best nights of his life in Jacksonville and has always wanted the best for AEW. Now, he wants to reintegrate and fulfill the company’s mission to change the world. He asks the AEW head honcho to shake his hand, which Khan does. However, he is then punched in the stomach for his troubles.

The rest of the members of The Elite then show up, ostensibly to help Khan. However, they then attack him and deliver a Piledriver to round off proceedings. Following the attack, members of The Elite retreated to the locker room, while medical personnel, referees, interviewers, babyface wrestlers such as Komander, Dante Martin, Penta El Zero Miedo, Evil Uno, and even Tony Khan’s father, Shahid Khan, came to the aid of the AEW president. So what did you think of the segment? Let us know in the comments.
