During the first pre-season test in Barcelona, there were a number of incidents that took place as the drivers tried to get back in the groove of things. Even the likes of Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen were not spared as they spun in separate incidents. However, Renault driver Daniel Ricciardo had a big off on the main straight.

Now, a new video has surfaced, showing a grandstand view of the crash. Luckily for the Australian, he avoided clattering the barrier and was able to limp back to the pits.

As per normal, he opened the DRS and things looked fine. It went very wrong in the braking zone as the DRS flap flew off and broke in two pieces.

As he tried to turn into the first corner, the helpless car snapped sideways and another one bites the dust.
