The last tournament before the US Open 2021 is underway and Diego Schwartzman took on Dan Evans in the opening round of the Cincinnati Open 2021. Although the Argentine ended up winning the match, the game was marked by a bitter incident that took place during it.
From the looks of it, Diego Schwartzman and Dan Evans had a dispute with each other. There was some disagreement between the two players and that led to an argument. Diego won the game and screamed out loud which got the British player agitated. Towards the end of the clip, Diego told Dan to “Sit down”.

However, once the match ended, both players made peace, and it was a good display of sportsmanship. The match itself went the distance and the winner had to be decided in the third and final set. The Argentine won the match 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.
Reflecting on Schwartzman’s season so far, he began competing in Melbourne at the Australian Open but lost in the third round to Aslan Karatsev. Following that, he won the Argentina Open.
