Recently, Svitolina shared another fun video on her twitter account, revealing her Christmas wish.

What Gift Did Gael Monfils Give His Girlfriend On Christmas?

Gael Monfils had a special gift for his girlfriend Elina Svitolina this Christmas. However, Monfils is no regular santa. He doesn’t give away his gifts freely. In the video, we can see how Monfils’ gift for Elina is inside a box placed on the tennis court.

To gain access to her gift, Elina has to hit the box through an accurate serve. Gael is seen making the video, cheering on his girlfriend as she tries her best to hit the box and get her gift. However, even after repeated tries, Svitolina is unable to hit the target. We wonder if Svitolina was finally able to get her Gift!

What Are  Monfils And Svitolina Currently Doing? 

Gael Monfils’ Australian Open hopes received a major setback recently when the French Superstar was forced to withdraw from the Mubadala World Tennis Championship due to an injury. Overall, Monfils’ 2019 season has been injury prone suffering injuries in his quadricep and wrist. He also faced a strained left Achilles which forced him to pull out of the Miami Masters.

Despite this, Monfils has been able to maintain his world number 10 ranking.

On the other hand, Elina Svitolina recently hired 2006 Australian Open runner up Marcos Baghdatis as her coach. The Ukrainian finished the year as world no 6. She reached the semi finals of the US Open before losing to Serena Williams and was the runner up at the year ending WTA finals which saw the World number 1 Ashleigh Barty lift the trophy.
