The year 2021 has a lot in store for the Xbox community. Fans are anticipating the release of Halo: Infinite, which will finally hit the stores later this year. Last month the community saw the release of the dual-reality psychological horror title, ‘The Medium’. The prominent Xbox insider, Jez Corden, teased this in reply to a tweet from a fellow insider, Klobrille. Klobrille, in his tweet, criticized the wider gaming media for turning a blind eye, intentionally or otherwise, towards “everything Xbox first-party.” To its reply, Corden had this to say.

As one would expect, fans instantly poured in with their speculations about what Corden’s reply could mean. While some have interpreted this as him warning the community that the media coverage for Xbox and Microsoft first-party titles might get worse in the times to come.

However, most fans have interpreted this as him teasing some pretty big news. Those who follow Corden will know that this man has a reputation for dropping hints and teases like this. The question then remains, what implications does this tease have?
