In 2010, the Diaz brothers, Nick and Nate Diaz, were involved in a brawl in the Strike Force. It happened after Jake Shields’ fight to defend his middleweight title against Dan Henderson.

Shields successfully defended his title and was in his post-fight interview, when Jason Miller, out of nowhere, interrupted the interview. This infuriated the Diaz brothers as Shields was part of their team. And needless to say, a series of punches and fist soon followed.

Miller and five other participants in the brawl were each given three-month suspensions and were levied fines.

With a few people thinking about a possible return of Nick, Dana White’s recent statements suggest that it might not happen.

“I haven’t, but I know that our matchmakers have,” Dana was quoted as saying in a video uploaded by ESPN MMA on Youtube. “But I have said it before and I will say it again, I don’t think Nick Diaz wants to fight. I don’t think he has that love, that passion for fighting. I think it’s sort of a love-hate relationship for him. All the things Nick has is because of fighting, but I don’t think he loves to do it.”
