Who Are the Australian Open 2021 Commentators?

The Australian Open 2021 will finally begin on the 8th of February. It is now happening three weeks from its original date, and with the coronavirus pandemic, most of the tennis fans will be watching the Grand Slam from their homes. Thankfully, Australian Open has a good line-up of commentators for 2021.
There is a star-studded lineup of commentators to enhance the fan’s viewing experience. There are several Grand Slam champions and prominent figures on the team.
Jim Courier, Chris Evert, Lleyton Hewitt will commentate during Australian Open 2021

The familiar face in the commentary team is Jim Courier. Courier is a four-time Grand Slam champion and thus has wonderful insights on tennis. He has long been with the Australian Open and often conducts the on-court interviews with players. He will be part of ATP’s Tennis TV broadcast team.
Todd Woodbridge is the next expert in the commentary team. The former Australian doubles Grand Slam champion is a relatively new face in the team joining the commentary team in 2019. Woodbridge is a doubles legend with 16 Grand Slam titles. He will commentate for Channel Nine.

Tennis legend, Chris Evert is another prominent tennis commentator. She has been with ESPN since 2011 and is an 18-time Grand Slam winner. She did commentate at the Australian Open 2020 and strongly reads the WTA and ATP players.
Further, there is Lleyton Hewitt commentating this year. The Australian is a former World No.1 and a two time Grand Slam champ. He has played against the likes of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, etc, and will have some of his experiences during the Grand Slam.

Everyone will also see Dylan Alcott commentating as well. Alcott is a wheelchair tennis player and is the current World No.1 in singles as well as doubles. The Australian has won numerous Grand Slams and thus he can provide an interesting point of view. He will be part of the Channel Nine crew.
Robbie Koenig is a familiar figure in the commentary box. He has commentated on a lot of iconic Aus Open moments. As a player, he wasn’t very successful but as a commentator, he has created his own fanbase. He will commentate for ATP’s Tennis TV.

Other former Australian players commentating during Australian Open 2021 are Jelena Dokic, Sam Groth,
and Alicia Molik. The trio were decent WTA players in past and have been prominent in tennis commentary in Australia.
