Ferrari driver Charles LeClerc delighted the Tifosi when he snatched pole position at Monza. Admittedly, the qualifying session was quite farcical, as 90% of the runners failed to reach the flag on time to start their final flying laps. However, in the end, LeClerc was able to keep pole position.

The Monegasque driver is a former F2 and GP3 champion and has already got a race win under his belt. Moving to his personal life, Charles LeClerc is dating Italian beauty Giada Gianni. She was born March 2, 1998 in Italy and not much is known about her, although she is fairly active on social media.

Gianni can be found on Instagram and has over 21k followers, though the 21-year old has not posted on Twitter as often.

The couple started dating in January 2015, in other words, they have celebrated their four year anniversary. Rumour had it that the two were engaged, but neither has confirmed the news.

Charles Leclerc and Giada Gianni often share photographs of their holidays and jet-setting lifestyle via social media.

Coming back to the Italian Grand Prix weekend, this pole is LeClerc’s 4th of the season. Five times world champion Lewis Hamilton will line up alongside the 21-year-old Monegasque on the front row for Mercedes. Meanwhile, Finnish team mate Valtteri Bottas third and Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel fourth.

Earlier in the session, Kimi Raikkonen had crashed out, bringing out the red flag with six minutes to go. When the session restarted, every team did their usual tactics of playing the waiting game. Finally, led by Nico Hulkenberg, they all filed out, but the Renault driver ran wide at the first corner.

What followed next was a bizarre scene where every driver backed off, almost to a standstill. So, Hulkenberg rejoined, still ahead of the other 8 drivers and they all continued backing off while the timer ticked down.

Then, Carlos Sainz in the McLaren grew a brain and bolted, thus managing to reach the chequered flag on time.
