It’s time for the final Grand Slam event of the season and fans are eager to catch a glimpse of their favorite players in action at the US Open 2021. Organizers had revealed in June that fans will be allowed to watch the matches at the stadiums this season.
However, a few days ago, it was announced that the qualifying rounds of the US Open 2021 will be held behind closed doors. Organizers reached the decision after discussion with health authorities about the Covid-19 situation.
As of now, there haven’t been any updates about the matches during the main draw. Therefore, the situation remains the same as the previous announcement. Last season, there were no fans allowed to witness the matches when Dominic Thiem and Naomi Osaka won the titles in the men’s and women’s competitions, respectively.
