But while Michael Jordan had to wait until his retirement for his statue, the Las Vegas Ace is getting it while still ruling the court. The honor is bound to immortalize the champ who brought another glory to Vegas this year.

MJ sculpture was designed by Omri Amrany and Julie Rotblatt-Amrany in 1994. Jordan was honored after his first retirement. He played the shooting guard spot and is considered by many to be the greatest player of all time. His bronze honor might be now shared by the 27-year-old WNBA player.

Wilson was a hometown shero for the Gamecocks, helping them win their first Women’s Final Four in 2015 and their first NCAA title in 2017.
