On December 31, Clark will be the special guest on the final episode of Jason and Travis Kelce’s podcast New Heights. The brothers, known for blending sports, culture, and candid interviews, teased the episode on X (formerly Twitter):

“She’s the all-time leading scorer of NCAA history, the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft. She’s a two-time WNBA All-Star and 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year. The 2024 Time Magazine Athlete of the Year, and she is the first and now last guest of New Heights in the 2025 season. Please welcome back to the show – Caitlin Clark!”

Dropping on the final day of the year, the episode promises a mix of basketball insight, personal stories, and behind-the-scenes moments as Clark joins the Kelces to reflect on her historic 2025 season. Fans of both football and basketball are already excited and eager to hear the conversations between the NFL’s greats and one of women’s basketball’s brightest stars.

“I’m back,” Caitlin Clark said as the duo welcomed her. “I’m honored you guys brought me back on. I must not have been too bad the first time, I guess.”

Her presence will carry extra symbolism as many will remember that Clark’s first appearance on this podcast was on January 2, 2025 (Episode 117), which marks her as the first and the last guest of this year.

During her first visit, Clark bridged NFL and WNBA fandoms, shutting down “bandwagon” rumors by explaining she grew up in Des Moines and has been a lifelong Chiefs fan. She also discussed meeting Travis Kelce at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour VIP tent and impressed both brothers with her deep NFL knowledge, even debating Iowa-born NFL players with Jason and Travis.

Since then, a lot has changed. Clark starred alongside Travis Kelce in a major Nike ad campaign on Christmas Day, won the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup, and continues to be the biggest driving force in women’s basketball. So, the upcoming episode can be expected to explore these milestones, as well as her growing connection with the Kelce/Swift circle.

Caitlin Clark also shared the teaser on her Instagram Stories and simply captioned it with: “ran it back.”

As the bookend guest of 2025, Clark will bring a full-circle moment on the podcast, offering fans a rare glimpse behind the scenes before the curtain rises on 2026.

Caitlin Clark looks ahead to the upcoming year

Clark is ready to put 2025 behind her! The Indiana Fever star entered the last season with high expectations after an impressive rookie year, where she became the league’s first rookie since Candace Parker in 2008 to be named to the All-WNBA first team. But a devastating right groin injury limited her to just 13 games.

However, despite the setback, Clark stayed engaged and positive, supporting her Indiana Fever teammates from the sidelines and reflecting on the lessons from a challenging year.

“I had hoped to share a better update, but I will not be returning to play this season… Disappointed isn’t a big enough word,” Caitlin Clark said back in September when she announced her exit from the season. “Even in the bad, there is good. The way the fans continued to show up for me, and for the Fever, brought me so much joy and important perspective.”
