She graduated in 1999 with a degree in biology but went back to school at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2001. In 2008, she graduated from the school with her master’s degree in periodontics. 

She works as an equipment specialist for Patterson Dental. So Paige definitely got her athletic skills from her mother as well. Despite living in Montana after her separation from Bob, Amy remained closely involved in Paige’s life and gave her all the tactical and emotional support she needed.

She routinely travels to major milestones and games, such as tournament championships, providing steady emotional backing while maintaining a low public profile. 

When did Bob Bueckers and Amy Fuller meet? 

Bob Bueckers and Amy Fuller’s relationship has largely remained private, and the details of how they first met have never been publicly disclosed. What is known, however, is that the couple married on June 5, 1999, at St. Francis Church in Brainerd, Minnesota, with Father Seamus Walsh officiating the ceremony.

They welcomed their only child together, Paige, in October 2001. Although Bob and Amy divorced when Paige was just three years old, they remained committed co-parents and continued to prioritize her well-being and basketball journey.

Both later remarried and expanded their families, but their support for Paige never wavered. Through her father, Paige has a younger half-brother, Drew, while her mother’s side includes a half-brother, Ryan, and a half-sister, Lauren.

Bob was a familiar face throughout Paige’s basketball journey, rarely missing her games as she rose through the ranks in Minnesota. “It has been surreal, but I think if she continues to stay true to herself, there are no boundaries for where she can go,” Bob told CT Insider in January 2022. “She’s going to be an agent of change.” 

“When she was young, any sort of ball that was around we’d be throwing it,” Bob told Ballislife in a March 2020 interview. “When she started playing [basketball], she was around 5, just playing it when we’d go to the park or go to the gym or something like that.”  

There hasn’t been a single game that Bob and Amy have missed. Apart from just her career, Bob is proud of how Paige has stayed true to herself in the public eye, he told CT Insider.

“People say things like, ‘She really handles herself well’ … She doesn’t have to handle herself,” he said. “That’s just her. And that’s what I like. She is confident in who she is and doing it positively.”

Amy echoed similar sentiments in her interview with Ballislife, sharing that Paige has always been confident in herself and good at setting her own boundaries. Huge personality, super sarcastic, loves playing jokes on people, knows how to push people when she wants to in a funny way,” Amy said of her daughter’s personality.

Paige’s story is a reminder that success is rarely achieved alone. With both parents consistently showing up for her and a close-knit family cheering her on, she had the support system needed to navigate every challenge on her journey to the top.
