Danielle Collins has been making a lot of noise with her incredible Miami Open victory and equally enchanting performance at the Charleston Open tournament this season. Since Collins announced her planned retirement due to endometriosis and arthritis, her fans were incredibly excited to see her winning titles for the last time. However, she recently made a surprising request for her mentor Jimmy Arias before her Charleston Open finals today.

In a recent interview with the Tennis Channel, Collins revealed that Jimmy Arias surprised her by attending her Miami Open finals with wife. Now, Collins would love it if her former colleague and friend repeated this gesture for her Charleston Open finals.

In a recent interview, Collins said- “Oh, yeah. Let’s give Jimmy a hard time. Jimmy shows up to the finals. He’s good at that, You Know? He’s good at that. He could drive up here. Yeah. Easy. Yeah I would love for him and his wife to make an appearance.”

Collins jokingly continued and said- “Jimmy, I hope you’re watching this. And, you know, if you if you don’t make it up, I’ll just have to, just have to open up a can of whoop, and IMG on the court there.”

However, this is not the first time Danielle Collins shared about her friendships and close relationships in professional tennis. After winning the Mimi Open tournament, Collins dropped a grateful message for all of her friends in the sport.
