As the player is proudly representing Ukraine despite the intensity of things, she disclosed that her grandmother’s house was hit by a rocket just moments before she took to the court in Brisbane.

“It’s not the first time Ukrainian players showed WTA, what is happening. We have repeatedly reported similar behavior of players from Russia on social media. We suggested penalties for them, but nothing changes,” she mentioned.
