The American tennis legend Lindsay Davenport lends her analysis to tennis as a commentator and broadcaster. The Olympic Gold winner is currently commentating in the WTA Finals while managing her three kids with husband, John Leach. Davenport married Leach in 2003, and four years later, their eldest son, Jagger Leach, was born. Like the Hall of Famer, the teenager also started his career as an athlete. On this momentous occasion, ITF and Davenport recently engaged in a short and quick banter over whom Jagger resembles more in the family.

The official account of ITF tennis shared a post of the mother-son duo on X (formerly Twitter). The post features a picture of young Davenport from the 1991 World Youth Cup and her eldest child from the Davis Cup juniors. It was captioned, “Would you say they look like each other?@LDavenport76’s son Jagger Leach is representing @usta in the 2023 Davis Cup Juniors.”

The three-time Grand Slam champion quickly replied to the post, “I think he looks like his dad 😂❤️@ITFTennis.” Davenport shared an old black-and-white picture of her husband in his tennis outfit to support her stance.

The internet also engaged in a funny banter about Jagger’s resemblance to his parents. Netizens offered their perspective and also lauded the former World No.1 for Jagger’s success as a junior player. Jagger is among a handful of aspiring tennis players hailing from the family of a tennis legend. Many would hope that he will have the right combination of genes and talent, making the fans confident that the future of tennis is in safe hands. Apart from expressing their stance on the facial resemblance, the users of X also shared their joy.

A user opined that Jagger is the combination of both his parents while praising the teen. She wrote, “Good job making USA junior tennis. And I see both parents!”

Rennae Stubbs also shared her view as she wrote, “COMBO!” under the comments.

A tennis fan was astonished at how fast Jagger grew up and wrote, “Gosh, Lindsay, he’s growing up so fast!”

Jagger has a decent 74% win record in his ITF career, with 58 wins and 20 losses. The teenager has a long way to go in his career, and with Davenport by his side, tennis enthusiasts will be hoping that he will make it big in the ATP circuit. Davenport has experience in coaching, as she coached Madison Keys as a part-timer and helped defeat Iga Swiatek in the 2022 Cincinnati Masters.
