It’s not the easiest thing for tennis players to find friends on tour, especially when they’re moving around continuously and have a good chance of facing each other during games. Regardless, Aryna Sabalenka and Paula Badosa have found a way to form a great bond over the years. Both have been seen together multiple times, and the Belarusian recently opened up about why it is important to have such a friend on tour.
The tennis world has seen the two players share sweet messages with each other many times over the past year. Sabalenka and Badosa’s relationship has grown over the years and will continue to grow unimpeded.

Sabalenka won the Australian Open and had a much-break over the following weeks. She celebrated her win and will now return to tennis in the Dubai Tennis Championships. As the winner of the first slam of the year, the Belarusian beauty gave a pre-tournament press conference in Dubai and talked about her friendship with Badosa, as the two are often seen having a great time together.

“I think it’s important. I think it’s important to have a friend, especially on tour. It also can help to handle your emotions, like talk to somebody. Paula, we agreed from the beginning on the court we’re opponents, off court we’re friends. Off the court you can swear, say whatever you like. That’s a good balance of friendship.”
Aside from Sabalenka sharing how she feels about her, we have seen the two interact often. We also saw Badosa being called her soulmate as the two shared sweet messages for one another.

Badosa and Sabalenka are soulmates
Even with the convenience of being able to snap images with each other, close friends are frequently the ones who do not have enough photos together. Sabalenka and Badosa are no different. Saba shared her wish on her Instagram story because they don’t have any photos together. She first uploaded the notorious photo of her and Badosa patting each other with the remark, “My favorite 🍑 on tour 😂🙈❤️”.

She posted a photo of herself holding and picking up the Spaniard, captioned, “Babe we need to do more content together, was trying to find some cool pics with you… we only have a few.” All signs point to their friendship being great and their bond continues to develop. We are likely to see more of such moments together in the future.
